R.O.C.K Bridge Ministries
If you wish to help expand ministries of discipleship, development, and empowerment in Nakuru, we invite you to partner with ROCK Bridge Ministries. We believe in creating sustainability in ministries and not dependence on our help; therefore, the donations we collect are used for creating lasting investments in the Kingdom of God in Nakuru. Some of our needs are ongoing, such as the administrative cost and salaries for R.O.C.K Bridge staff.
Holiday Homes
High-end hospitality business builds a sustainable, income-generating model to aid aspiring students from vulnerable communities. Revenues from Holiday Homes will support higher education for children from at-risk communities and the orphans graduating from Tumaini Mission School and Children’s Home.
“Even though there are many limitations during these difficult days, it is not time to be sleeping. The time to build is ideal.” – Zablon Kuria, Founder and Executive Dir. of R.O.C.K. Bridge Ministries.
Tumaini Bethany Children’s Home and School
Many of the orphans at Tumaini still are without a sponsor that could help meet both the financial and relational needs of these children. Your financial gift for a specific child will cover all the expanses that are part of raising a child, food, housing, education, clothing and medical. But there is a relational need that can be met with your sponsorship as well. We encourage and facilitate communication between the child and their sponsor by way of letter and pictures as well as the possibility of visiting the child.
Upendo Academy
The majority children in the Kaptembwam Estate that surrounds the Upendo Church do not attend school because of the inability to pay for school fees. Supporting one of these children would give them a chance to get a quality education, give them a new school uniform and well as at least one nutritional meal everyday.
Workplace Ministry
If the idea of worshiping and hearing the encouraging word of the Gospel in a workplace environment seems foreign yet exciting to you, then we would ask you to consider supporting this rapidly growing ministry. There is now not only a need for ongoing support but for an additional staff person to meet the many requests of business owners to R.O.C.K Bridge Ministries for someone to come to their business to share God’s word.
ShoSho’s Pantry
ShoSho’s Pantry, also known as Granny’s Pantry, was created on November 7, 2020 in honor of Cindy Buckner. Cindy traveled to Kenya, Africa for the first time in December of 2016 and instantly had a passion for making sure that the children and families in the Upendo community had food to eat. Your donation to ShoSho’s Pantry will help to provide food and hygiene items to families in need year round.
Cindy lost her battle to Pancreatic Cancer on November 27, 2020. Her family’s wishes are to ensure that her legacy in feeding those in need lives on.
-Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor. -Proverbs 22:9
